Superlove in Tivoli

Listening to Avicii vs. Lenny Kravitz – Superlove and Steve Angello – Tivoli, both of which sound inadvertently the same. Or at least, similar. I’m won over either way. Because — I want your superlove!

Drinking (well, supping) hot green tea. Freshly brewed, and deliciously roasted to perfection – Hojicha, I believe. I love the slightly burnt aroma it gives off. Hands down, my absolute favourite variant of green tea.

Planning. Something I desperately need to focus on these days. As much as I do enjoy spontaneity (depending on the circumstance), this is now somewhat crucial given my new schedule. It’s all about properly allotting my available hours to do the things I want to do and get done in the day, especially when it comes to the weekend, which always seems to pass by in a blinding flash, thus leaving me back in the working week before I even know it, breathless and wondering where my precious time off went to. It takes quite a fair bit of effort to plan, admittedly, but it gives me a certain sense of achievement and accomplishment I can never seem to find anywhere else. After I’ve actually gone and done whatever I initially planned to do, of course.

Other than that, I’m looking to start planning my prospective leaves and holidays too. China is first on the list for now, mainly to visit the beau, and explore the East while I’m at it. I’d love to go to Thailand (particularly Bangkok) as well – thank goodness it’s nearby and we’re practically neighbours. And this is just a bit of Asia. The ideal escape though, would have to be Maldives (Mauritius a close alternative), or any W hotel or resort in the world. Mostly. But yes, that’ll have to wait. Oh, sweet wanderlust.

I’m also in the midst of planning a number of upcoming conceptual shoots, all of which I’m very excited about. And speaking of shoots,

Behind the scenes at the Mosaic Bijoux campaign shoot last Thursday night. A big thank you to Ili Elfeera, Bryan Yong, and Putera Zamir for being such a brilliant team. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing the selected pictures.

In the meantime, enjoy your weekend, all!
