Listening to Sean Paul – She Doesn’t Mind. It brings summer mornings to mind. Hot, balmy daybreak; the soft, subtle glow of warm AM sunshine before it hits the harsh noon – the start of a beautiful, new day, just waiting to be abound with irreplaceable experiences and such flavour. It makes me think of the good life, made up of the simple things. Absolutely golden. And it makes me want to dance. To savour and surrender to fluid movement, and lose myself in the music.
It’s the middle of the week, and I’m enjoying it thus far. Spent the most of last night with my lovely babydoll, Ee Von, baking vanilla cupcakes and sharing heartfelt conversations you can’t just find anywhere. I love good, quality conversations – people tend to overlook it too often these days, especially in such a technological-driven world. Good conversations, in a way, are like vanilla cupcakes – simple, yet so very satisfying. No sugar-coated nonsense (it does have its respective time and place though); just straightforward, open and honest communication.
We talked about everything from business to relationships, experiences to growth, prospective projects to future plans, and everything in between. And of course, our burning want to dance actively once again. We made plans and set goals of all sorts – including one to meet up at least once every week (provided work doesn’t get the best of us), so here’s to following them through.
Enjoy your thirty-degree midweek, all! It’s perpetually summer in these parts.
