The two beautiful gems in my life. No words can fully describe the extent of my love for these two. They were (and still are) my rocks and pillars of strength whilst I was living in the UK, experiencing my final year in university. And I’m thoroughly, thoroughly blessed to have them with me, by my side. Both absolute angels, definitely heaven-sent.
And then some. I was a very lucky girl on my graduation day.
It is a wonderful thing, to be loved and to know that you are loved. By no means does it have to be by the entire world, but rather, by a select few. A small handful of individuals you hold close to your heart, whom you treasure and cherish to the ends of the Earth and more. The fact that it is a small number or even a number you can count on your fingers alone makes it, or them, all the more special to you, like rare, exotic flowers in a lush, bountiful forest (as I’m not discounting the beauty in others as well). To know and to be given the comfort that you can count on them, and they, you. To know that you are still very much alive in their hearts, no matter where they are or where they might be in the world. And that you will be the best person you can possibly be for them – apart from yourself – and vice versa. It is the single most powerful thing, with the uncanny ability to conquer everything else in this world.
Listening to John Legend – P.D.A. (We Just Don’t Care) while writing, courtesy of my colleague at work, thinking of getting lost and lost. I’ve finally started going through the now imposing pile of unedited pictures I’ve been collecting since time immemorial – considerably, and I’ve begun to work on them bit by bit. Heaven knows how long I’ll actually take to complete them all, especially with my trip to China coming up in a few weeks’ time, which will just add (quite tremendously) to the mass of photographs I pressingly need to sort out before it reaches the point of no return.

My two favourite boys in all of the Silver City. Missing them to bits. Bulgarian x Malaysian/Chinese x Londoner/Barbadian – it’s international love, baby.
