— just some of my favourite things.
One of my most favourite combinations, as a matter of fact. Chilled white wine would make a good alternative, although there’s no actual substitute for champagne, in my opinion. Most of my downtime these days are spent coming up with Spotify playlists, with names like — yes, Strawberries and Champagne. And Pillow Talk. To name but a few. I do find making playlists quite therapeutic, actually. And I’ve been feeling very sensual lately as well — do note the distinct difference between sexual and sensual, they’re two completely different things, if you ask me, with the latter titillating and playing around more with the senses.
I’ve also been wanting to go back into writing, and for quite some time now, but time management (and allocating private time for myself) is one of the things I’ve to work on these days. To do the things I want to do, to pursue the passions I want to pursue. Thus this is my attempt at a start, at writing once again. Furthermore, it’s my birthday month and I’ll inevitably be turning a year older, hopefully wiser. Time to actually start doing and making things happen as opposed to sitting around and waiting for such things to happen (because honey, you know that’s not how it works). The good thing is that I’ve been living a lot, and I do mean living — living life to the fullest, carpe diem, experiencing all that life has to offer, basking in its beauty and flavour. I’m enjoying myself thoroughly. It’s only a matter of finding time for my other interests, such as this.
And I’m obsessed with this song (and its music video, more with the song though) after discovering it a mere ten minutes ago. And no, this doesn’t go in the Strawberries and Champagne playlist. It goes in a different one, of course.
Bonne nuit, ma chérie/mon chéri. Bisous.
