(Don’t mind me, the title can be a bit confusing from a chronological point of view seeing that my previous post is titled Sunday Mornings & Workspace Inspiration, but that’s only because a week has already passed. Okay, stating the obvious. Moving on.)
So it’s been a very busy workweek and I’m glad it’s finally Saturday morning and I can make hot coffee, sit back, and write. I cherish my Friday evenings and weekends a whole lot more these days – I think it’s something we all eventually learn to do once we start working a nine-to-fiver. Or in my case a nine-to-eight/niner. Eleven if I’m at an event. Weekends – and the occasional Friday evenings/nights – are the only actual time I have aside from leaves and bank holidays (the term has somehow stuck with me since the UK) to pursue my other passions and in all honesty, how are two and a quarter days ever enough? Especially so given the number of things I’d like to do. Even so, I’m determined to make time for it all, blogging being one of them, in spite of the current prevailing circumstances.
Speaking of which, I really need to come up with some sort of structure for this blog – my posts are literally all over the place. And let’s not even get into what goes on behind it all – I probably have about ten million drafts (almost not an exaggeration) pending. And counting. Something to work on indeed, on top of everything else. Overwhelmed doesn’t even begin to describe how I seem to feel these days, but while I might’ve bitten off a lot more than I can chew, I’m going to damn well chew it anyway, so be it.
I’m off to start preparing for a midday shoot – it’s been a while since I did one – so whilst I’m still working on my entire archive of self-taken pictures (another ten million right there), here are more beautiful workspaces, or makeshift workplace set-ups more like, to inspire,
